On the basis of the process undertaken by the Banking and Insurance Superintendency of Ecuador to establish credit risk standards via regulations 601 and 602 issued in December 2003, BANCO INTERNACIONAL acquired and is now implementing the specialized credit risk module FINANWARE™ Credit Risk IRBa, thus becoming a spearhead in risk management in the Ecuadorian financial system.
