The data extraction, cleansing and transformation processes are usually the most critical points for the success of an information management project owing to the diversity of data sources and formats that may exist in a financial institution, the multiple platforms handling its regular management and transactions operations, the required quality and consistency of the information and the constraints inherent to transaction processing environments, such as time constraints in the processing windows. FINANWARE™ DIS (Data Integrator System) is the tool that permits data loading, migration, transformation and extraction from any technological platform in the institution, so that the installation and operation of the FINANWARE™ products is completely independent from the environment or technological platforms the institution may have for operations and transactions management either presently or in the future.

FINANWARE™ DIS Components
The application was built with several specialized components associated with three major groups:
- Data access components, consisting of the system data base, the Meta-Objects Manager and the Object Access Controller.
- Base components, consisting of the Object Receptor, Object Transformer, Object Scrubber and Object Exporter.
- Customer components, consisting of a series of user management interfaces to define, manage and administration of the DIS.

Additionally and to complete the solution, we offer a set of value-added services provided by specialized personnel for the data-source, meta-model documentation, definition of data-extraction structures and formats activities and adjustment and/or construction of data cleansing and validation processes, data standardization and conversion into the formats required by the target structure.
