Procesos MC Peru (January 2008)

Towards the end of 1998, Banco Latino and Banco Wiesse decided to establish a Merger Committee in order to develop one single company to acquire MasterCard in Peru.

On April 1999 both banks entered into a partnership agreement and determined the incorporation of Procesos MC PERU S.A., which began its operations on November 12, 1999.

On July 2005, the company name was changed to "Procesos de Medios de Pago S.A." but maintained the trade name of Procesos MC Peru.

Procesos MC Peru seeks to achieve optimal efficiency levels in the mediums of exchange business by encouraging the maximum acceptance and use of credit and debit cards to replace payments in cash. We intend to ensure quality service together with appropriate profit levels.
